Are you charging enough?

There are two things that every coach worries about:

1) Generating leads

2) Pricing of their services.

Today we are talking about #2. Because I can guarantee you are under charging for your coaching.

And if you don’t believe me, check out these 3 examples of insanely priced products/services.

Crazy pricing #1:

$6,266 bottle of water.

This is not a typo. People are willing to pay this for just 750ml of water harvested from a remote iceberg in Svalbard, Norway. And that’s not even the craziest part…you can’t even drink it!! It’s out of date and is sold purely as a luxury collector’s item.

Crazy pricing #2:

Getting paid to do....Nothing

A man in Japan literally earns about $83,000 a year just by quietly existing in the company of others. The crazy thing is that he doesn't actively interact with his clients or offer advice. People simply pay up to $195 for him to sit silently at cafés, attend events without speaking, or wait at marathon finish lines to greet runners he doesn't even know.

Crazy pricing #3:

Air in a Can

People have genuinely spent up to $10,000 for cans containing normal, everyday air. No special ingredients, nothing exotic, just plain old air, sold as a rare, luxury product purely because someone decided to market it that way.

Why am I telling you this?

Because so many coaches under-value their work and it costs them.

I remember completing my career coaching qualification in 2020. There were 15 coaches in my cohort who I got to know quite well.

We stayed in touch after qualifying.

As time went on, more and more of our group went from coaching full time to taking on part-time jobs or going back into full-time work.

There is nothing wrong with that, only most of them didn’t want to.

It was sad to see so many coaches leave the professional and feel like it was out of their control.

Why struggle when you don’t have to?

Value is totally subjective.

Whatever price you're charging, someone will always find it expensive, while someone else will see the real worth you bring.

If you're feeling like you're charging too little, trust that feeling because you probably are.

Your work changes lives, and you're worth it.

So, why not start charging accordingly and attract clients who truly value you?

With love,

Mohammed

P.S. What are you currently charging for 1-2-1 work?
